Little Granville enjoys views across the beautiful countryside and is a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths from close to the cottage. Within a 10 minute drive of the sandy beaches of Shanklin & Ventnor, this renovated cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Little Granville is situated in the grounds of Ford Farm House. It enjoys views across the beautiful countryside and is within a 10-minute drive of the sandy beaches of Shanklin, Steephill Cove and Ventnor. It is a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths and bridleways leading from close to the cottage to nearby downs and there is a renowned walk which follows the course of the nearby River Yar from its source at Niton to the sea at Bembridge via Godshill and Alverstone. The nearby village of Whitwell has the White Horse Inn, for meals, and within a few minutes’ drive, there is also the village of Niton, where there is an excellent general store, pub, pharmacy and a beautiful church. The thatched village of Godshill lies about two miles north and has two public houses and a restaurant.
Little Granville has been renovated to provide very attractive and comfortable accommodation for two people in one bedroom. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is centrally heated and double glazed. There is a delightful open plan living area with a fitted kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and gas hob, dishwasher and refrigerator with icebox; a pleasant dining area; a lovely sitting room area with comfortable armchairs, and a flat-screen television/DVD/Freeview. Patio doors open from here on to a pretty decked area with a table and chairs so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine whilst enjoying the views. There is a separate twin bedroom, which can be made into a double, is very well equipped with fitted wardrobes and a lovely en-suite shower room with a large walk-in shower, basin and w.c. Heating and electricity are provided without extra charge. A freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available for visitors’ use.
Little Granville is available for weekly holiday bookings from Friday to Friday.
